Text
ROUND 2: Nine artists from Vienna and Berlin show current works, ranging from virtual space and space-specific installations to geographical separation and on-site exhibition practice. What configurations, what forms of collaboration do we conceive, what stories do we tell in these spaces?
We enquire whether the art world and our immediate art microcosm are growing bigger or smaller through the potentials of digital networking.
We investigate the foundation of collective practice and examine how individual positions merge into a group aesthetic.
If the children manage to snatch all the fruits before the raven puzzle in the middle is finished, they will win as a team against the raven.
The exhibition is about interconnectedness, about individual and collective narratives developing through the interplay of things in space.
The youngest child begins by rolling the dice.
In October 2022, the first exhibition took place in Berlin under the title “Des Nachbarsgarten Äpfel” (Apples from the Neighbour’s Garden*). The same artists have now been invited to exhibit in Vienna.
